Dublin, Ireland
Ireland is such a
beautiful country! The scenery is spectacular and the people are incredibly
nice! Every single day we were incredibly blessed with amazing weather!! It was
so fun to walk around and enjoy the great sunny weather, and during our trip it
didn't even rain on us, which is unheard of in Ireland. Our first night in Dublin,
we got all settled into the hostel, had a great dinner, and then had some
Guinness beers at a pub. On Sunday, we enjoyed the free walking tour around the
city of Dublin and learned all about the history behind this wonderful country.
Next, we made out way to the Jameson distillery, which was a blast! We were
given a tour and learn all about the way that whiskey is made. At the end of
the tour we compared the taste of American whiskey to Jameson, and Jameson
definitely won! That night we met up with some people we met on the walking
tour and went to some pubs! We enjoyed some great pints of Guinness and danced
all night, it was so much fun! Monday morning we enjoyed a delicious
Full Irish Breakfast and then spent a lot of time just wondering around the
city. Later that day we made our way to the Guinness brewery. This place was
huge! It was fun to see the process of how the beer is made. At the end of the
tour we made it to the top floor and got to enjoy a free pint of Guinness while
looking out at a beautiful view of the city! Tuesday was our last day of our
trip in Europe and it was a perfect end. We took a day trip to the Cliffs of
Moher, which is on the west coast of Ireland. What a beauty it was!!! These
cliffs were absolutely stunning! There are no words to describe it and no
pictures will do it justice, it was simply just amazing. I sat there starring
out to the ocean and reflecting on my entire trip to Europe. I have been
incredibly blessed to be able to travel the world. During my time in Europe, I
have learned so much about myself and about others around the world. I wouldn't
trade anything for these past three months. My trip was everything I could have
dreamed of and more, but now I am ready to see all of my family and friends.
